BoostechNZSI is the South Island New Zealand branch of the Boosted global tuning network. Based at 7A Short Street, Timaru, we service Canterbury, Otago, and Southland — from personal vehicles to full commercial operations.
We started before diesel ECU tuning became popular in New Zealand. When the market flooded with generic plug-in devices and one-size-fits-all map files, we stayed focused on what actually works: custom maps written for your specific vehicle, your specific fuel, and your specific use case.
The combination of specialist tuning knowledge and full mechanical capability under one roof is rare in the South Island. Most workshops either tune or fix — we do both, which means you don't have to manage two separate workshops for your vehicles.

Being part of the global network gives us access to shared vehicle data, proven map files, and ongoing technical development that a standalone shop simply can't match.
